As the CEO of the NIX Health Care System for over 23 years, I have devoted myself to making the Nix Health Care System a place where patients are cared for with compassion, personal attention and respect. I see first hand on a daily basis the effects of morbid obesity including diabetes, heart disease, chronic lower back and joint pain, just to name a few. It is heartwarming to see and hear the results of people who have had the LAP-BAND weight loss surgery at the NIX, people whose suffering from the adverse effects of obesity has been lessened or eliminated.

The NIX has been in the business of serving people in our community since 1930 and I believe this is one of the most exciting, life changing services we offer.
