Online Support Groups

Online support groups are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Joining the online group offers motivation for the good and bad days, education on your personal diet, and tips on relating with others on a daily basis. It’s also a great way to stay connected with the NIX Weight Loss Surgery Center and the staff at South Texas Surgeons for upcoming announcements and events.

Monthly Support Groups

Monthly support groups are offered every third Tuesday of every month at NIX Alamo Heights, 5307 Broadway, San Antonio, 78209. They are held on the second floor from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., as well as some Saturdays, times TBA.

Regardless of where you had your surgery, anyone who is interested, or has had the LAP-BAND weight loss surgery is welcome; along with loved ones & supporters; because at the NIX, we care about all the people in our community. We’ve been serving the citizens of San Antonio for over 80 years and we will be here tomorrow to support and celebrate your success.
